Alpha Dawg Rookie Flag Football is an introductory, developmental program created to introduce young athletes to the game of flag football in a fun, positive, and structured environment. Held indoors at the North Olmsted Recreation Field House, the program runs from January through March, offering eight weeks of instruction and gameplay in a comfortable, weather-proof setting.

Designed for children in Pre-K (who will be entering Kindergarten in the 2027–28 school year) and Kindergarten, the league follows NFL FLAG rules and uses a coed, 5-on-5 format tailored to beginners. The season includes two preseason practices followed by six weeks of combined practice and scrimmage-style gameplay. All players participate in a joint practice model led by a Head Coach and staff, focusing on building confidence, learning fundamentals, and fostering teamwork in a supportive environment.

Sessions are held every Friday from 5pm to 6pm, making it a consistent opportunity for kids to stay active and engaged while developing the skills and understanding needed to enjoy the game. Whether your child is new to football or just getting started, Alpha Dawg Rookie Flag Football is the perfect first step.
