Alpha Dawg Arena Flag Football is an exciting indoor flag football program designed to provide a fun and engaging experience for young athletes. Held at the North Olmsted Recreation Field House, the program runs during the winter season from January to March, offering a great opportunity to play in a comfortable environment regardless of the weather. The league follows NFL FLAG rules and features a coed, 5-on-5 format. The program consists of eight weeks, which includes two preseason practices and six practice/game sessions.
Alpha Dawg Flag Football is a recreational league focused on player growth, skill development, teamwork, and fun. Our divisions create a clear pathway that allows players to progress from their introduction to flag football in the Rookie Division through our most advanced level, the 5/6/7 Division.
Rookie Division — Introduction
Created for Pre-K and Kindergarten players, the Rookie Division introduces the fundamentals of flag football through age-appropriate instruction, group practices, and weekly scrimmages in a fun and supportive environment.
1/2 Division — Beginner
Designed for players in 1st and 2nd grade, including those advancing from the Rookie Division, this level builds on fundamental skills while introducing team concepts, game situations, positions, and structured competition.
3/4 Division — Intermediate
Designed for players in 3rd and 4th grade who are ready to strengthen their skills and expand their understanding of the game, this division introduces more advanced techniques, positional awareness, teamwork, and game strategy.
5/6/7 Division — Advanced
Designed for players in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade, this division represents the highest level of the Alpha Dawg developmental pathway. Players experience faster-paced competition while developing advanced skills, leadership, game awareness, and a deeper understanding of strategy.
At every level, our goal is to help players build confidence, improve their football skills, understand the value of teamwork, and develop a lasting love for the game.
We use NFL FLAG 5×5 Rules.
