Alpha Dawg’s Newest Program
The Alpha Dawg Big Dawgs Flag Football Program is a new middle school football opportunity for players in 7th and 8th grade. Competing in the North Olmsted Recreation Winter Flag Football League, teams will participate in an eight-week season featuring six games in a fast-paced 6-on-6 format.
All practices and games will be held indoors at the North Olmsted Recreation Center Field House during November and December, providing players with a fun, competitive, and weather-proof football experience.
Keep Playing + Keep Developing
The Big Dawgs program provides an excellent bridge between the fall football season and winter sports.
For flag football players, it is an opportunity to extend their season, continue developing their skills, build confidence, compete alongside their teammates, and enjoy the game in a structured and positive environment.
For middle school tackle football players, the program provides valuable additional repetitions and an opportunity to continue working on offensive and defensive systems. Players can practice familiar plays, formations, strategies, and football concepts in a fast-paced, competitive setting.
Bring Your Team
Teams are formed through Alpha Dawg’s “Bring Your Team” model. Coaches apply for a team spot, recruit their players, and have each athlete register through Alpha Dawg under the team’s name.
Individual players are also welcome to register as free agents. Alpha Dawg will work to connect free agent players with available coaches and teams.
